Pinoy Puto Seko 

Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup powdered milk
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Combine flour, cornstarch, powdered milk, baking powder, and salt in a bowl, mix until completely incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until well blended and smooth.
  4. Knead for a few minutes to make a soft dough.
  5. Cut the dough into two equal parts.
  6. Roll out the dough to about ¼-inch thick.
  7. Cut out cookies using a 2-inch fluted or round cookie cutter.
  8. Place on the baking trays, leaving ½-inch apart.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 -12 minutes, until just lightly browned around the edges.
  10. Let the cookies cool completely on the baking trays before storing.
     Note:
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container.
